What this role covers

We are hiring an Outbound Appointment Setter for a franchise fitness center in the Health & Fitness industry. This is a Part-Time remote role for a California, USA based company. This role is ideal for someone who is persuasive, upbeat, and resilient with excellent phone etiquette, a KPI-driven mindset, and a background in high-volume lead qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make high-volume outbound calls (target ~150+ calls per week) to new and aged leads from paid social campaigns.

  • Conduct engaging, consultative conversations to qualify interest and set in-person appointments.

  • Execute confirmation, reminder, and rescheduling follow-ups to reduce no-shows and improve show rates.

  • Diligently log calls, notes, dispositions, and next steps in the ABC Gym Sales CRM.

  • Re-engage and nurture cold/older leads to revive interest and generate bookings.

  • Follow scripts and objection-handling frameworks while providing feedback to refine messaging.

  • Meet or exceed KPIs (dials, contact rate, set rate, show rate) and provide daily/weekly activity reports.

  • Coordinate with the on-site team to align availability, handoffs, and same-day priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of recent experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, or inside sales for the US market.

  • Excellent English communication (C1+) with a clear/neutral accent and professional phone presence.

  • Proven track record hitting call-volume and attendance/show-rate targets in a KPI-driven environment.

  • Comfortable using CRMs, following scripts, and taking thorough notes.

  • Able to work US Pacific afternoon/evening hours consistently during peak calling windows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish-English for seamless conversations with Spanish-speaking leads.

  • Experience in fitness, wellness, or membership-based services (e.g., gyms, studios, clinics).

  • Strong objection handling and no-show reduction tactics.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • ABC Gym Sales CRM (or similar fitness sales software)

  • VoIP dialer/softphone and call tracking tools

  • Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and basic reporting

Schedule & Pay:

  • PART-TIME position; 20 hours per week in the US Pacific time zone (likely 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm PST window).

  • This is a fully remote job for a California, USA based company.

  • Pay ranges from R7 000 - R8 800 per month, depending on experience and bilingual skills.

  • Incentives: Performance-based $10 bonus per "show" (client attendance).

  • Includes paid training and growth potential into increased hours/responsibilities.

System Requirements:

  • Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps upload and download.

  • Computer with a 2.4 GHz processor or higher.
