Privacy Policy

At Cherry Assistant, your privacy matters. This page explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the information you share with us.

At Cherry Assistant ("we," "us," or "our"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to the practices described in this policy. Last updated: August 6, 2026.

01

Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information. We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Submit a request, contact, or booking form, such as your name, email address, phone number, and company details.
  • Apply for a job through our jobs pages, including your name, email address, location, resume, and answers to screening questions.
  • Communicate with us via email, phone, or online forms.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information. When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information using the analytics and advertising tools described in Section 2. This information includes:

  • The pages you view and the site that referred you.
  • Marketing tags (UTM parameters) in the page address.
  • Your screen size, browser, operating system, and device type.
  • An approximate location (country and city) derived from the network request.
  • Random identifiers stored in cookies so we can tell visits apart.

02

Analytics and Advertising Tools

2.1 BIJI Analytics (self-hosted). We measure site traffic with BIJI Analytics, an analytics service that the site owner hosts and operates (served from biji-analytics.onrender.com). It is not an advertising network, and nothing it collects is sold or shared with advertisers. It records the page path and hostname, a cleaned referrer, allowlisted UTM values, your screen size, browser, operating system and device type, and a coarse location (country and city). To tell visits apart it stores two first-party cookies with random identifiers: a visitor identifier kept for up to one year and a session identifier that expires after about thirty minutes of inactivity. These identifiers are random strings that contain no name, email, or other personal details. Analytics data is deleted on request.

2.2 Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which collects usage data (pages viewed, session activity, approximate location, and device information) using its own cookies and identifiers. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy.

2.3 Meta Pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. The pixel records page views and may set cookies that allow Meta to associate your visit with your Meta account if you have one. Meta's handling of this data is described in Meta's privacy policy. You can limit ad personalization in your Meta account settings.

03

Forms, Bookings, and Job Applications

3.1 Request, contact, and booking forms. Our request, contact, and meeting-booking forms are provided through an embedded CRM and scheduling service (LeadConnector). Information you enter in these forms is stored in our CRM and used to respond to your inquiry, schedule meetings, and run your engagement with us.

3.2 Job applications. Applications submitted on our jobs pages (name, email, location, resume, and screening answers) are processed through our hiring platform and used to evaluate your application and contact you about roles.

04

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide and improve services, personalize your experience, and improve our website.
  • Communicate with you, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
  • Send marketing materials and newsletters with your consent.
  • Measure which pages and marketing sources lead to inquiries and engagements.
  • Evaluate job applications and contact candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations and protect our rights and our users.

05

Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist with website operations, analytics, CRM and scheduling, hiring, and customer support — including the providers named in Sections 2 and 3. These providers are required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • Authorities when required by law or when needed to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Parties involved in business transfers such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.

We do not sell your personal information.

06

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Analytics data is kept while it is useful for understanding the site and is deleted on request. When your information is no longer needed, we will take steps to delete or anonymize it.

08

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The cookies we use are described in Section 2: two first-party BIJI Analytics cookies holding random identifiers (a visitor identifier kept for up to one year and a session identifier that expires after about thirty minutes of inactivity), plus cookies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time and the site keeps working, though embedded forms and measurement may be affected.

09

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations.
  • Objection to our processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Data portability in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bijilabs.com and we will handle your request promptly.

10

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

11

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We take appropriate steps to ensure that your data remains protected during such transfers.
