Job Description
What this role covers
Overview:
We are hiring a Lead Generation & Outreach Assistant (early career) for a U.S.-based, early-stage B2B SaaS startup developing Voice AI technology for the collections industry.
This role is suited to someone with approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience who enjoys structured, hands-on execution work. You will support the founder’s outbound activity by preparing lead data, managing sequences, handling replies and follow-ups, and keeping tracking files up to date. Extensive experience is not required; practical prospecting and outreach exposure, combined with the ability to learn and follow an established process, is what matters.
Important role expectation: Campaign planning, GTM design, team leadership, and original copywriting are outside the scope of this position. Messaging, workflows, and priorities will be supplied; your responsibility is to complete the assigned work accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Use Apollo, Clay, company websites, and other databases or online sources to find businesses that meet the client’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) rules and compile the relevant companies and contacts into prospect lists
Complete and check each prospect record by locating reliable work email addresses and LinkedIn profile links, correcting missing or inaccurate information before outreach begins
Import contact lists and approved message templates into Apollo and Dripify; activate the planned email and LinkedIn sequences and confirm that scheduled sends are running correctly
Review replies in Apollo and Dripify each working day, use the supplied response guide, follow up with approximately 10–20 engaged prospects, record the next step, and arrange suitable meeting times for the founder
Carry out weekly sequence maintenance by finding replacements for bounced addresses and removing approximately 100 of the oldest pending LinkedIn invitations in Dripify
Keep the master prospect list, campaign performance spreadsheet, Google Sheets, and CRM records current, including lead status, pipeline movement, follow-up dates, and completed activity
Adapt approved first-touch and follow-up templates with light prospect-specific details, and support re-engagement campaigns for deferred, stalled, and closed-lost deals; all written communication must be polished and error-free
Manage the assigned daily and weekly checklists, output targets, and additional GTM support requests independently; incorporate feedback promptly and apply the revised approach to future work
Required Qualifications:
Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in prospecting, lead generation, outbound outreach, sales support, or another hands-on commercial support role
Practical experience sourcing company and contact information online and checking potential leads against supplied ICP criteria
Some hands-on experience using email and LinkedIn for prospect outreach; any exposure to prospect-facing phone communication is welcome
A high standard of written English and clear spoken English, including accurate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and business-appropriate wording
Careful and accurate handling of prospect information, message details, follow-up commitments, and reporting figures
Ability to learn documented procedures and SOPs and apply them accurately each day
Comfortable completing recurring, volume-based tasks throughout the workday while meeting daily and weekly output goals
Able to organize and complete your own workload in a remote setting, communicate asynchronously, and incorporate feedback into future work
Available to work full-time from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time (US)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience maintaining consistent daily output in a recurring, volume-based role
Exposure to one or more of the following: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Dripify, or an equivalent outreach system
Prior responsibility for warm-prospect follow-ups, database upkeep, re-engagement outreach, or meeting coordination
Experience scheduling meetings through Calendly or a similar platform
Required Skills & Tools:
Lead sourcing: LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Google Search, or a comparable database
Outreach: Email, LinkedIn, Apollo, Dripify, phone, or a similar channel
Records and reporting: Google Sheets, Excel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or a basic CRM
Team communication: Gmail, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, or equivalent software
Scheduling: Calendly, Google Calendar, or a comparable application
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time position; 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time (US)
Fully remote role working for a U.S.-based company
Pay ranges from R15,000–R25,000 per month, depending on experience and skill
Annual raises, bonuses, and confirmed holiday PTO
System Requirements:
Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps
Computer with a 2.4 GHz processor or higher
8 GB of RAM or higher
Windows 10 or newer, or Mac OS X 10.10 or newer
HD 720p webcam
Headset with a microphone
Benefits:

The company provides a U.S. phone number and business email address
Work remotely from home or any location of your choice
No commute time
Consistent work with the same client, fostering long-term professional relationships
Opportunities for career advancement, dependent on the client

A supportive, inclusive environment that values diversity and individual growth
