What this role covers

We are hiring a Sales & Operations Coordinator for a residential home services company in the cleaning industry. This is a Full-Time remote role for a Northern California, USA based client. The role is focused on sales-first lead handling, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination to drive bookings and maintain top responsiveness across lead sources. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, sales-driven, organized, process-oriented, and is coachable. This role requires experience in high-ticket sales environments, CRM management, and operational assistance in a local service-based business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond immediately to inbound calls, texts, and web inquiries; convert leads from Google LSA, Yelp, Thumbtack, and other channels into booked jobs

  • Conduct outbound follow-ups on warm leads; maintain target close rates and responsiveness SLAs

  • Schedule one-time and recurring cleanings, create and update bookings, and manage customer details in BookingKoala (or similar CRM)

  • Coordinate daily operations with cleaners: confirm schedules, gather job photos, handle day-of changes, and ensure service quality

  • Proactively request reviews, upsell recurring services and add-ons, and reactivate past customers

  • Manage unified messaging (calls, SMS, social/GBP chat) via OpenPhone and/or GoHighLevel

  • Track KPIs (lead response time, close rate, show rate, repeat bookings, reviews) and prepare daily/weekly reports

  • Maintain accurate records, SOPs, templates, and scripts; suggest improvements to processes and playbooks

  • Support light prospecting as needed (e.g., follow-ups or occasional cold outreach for commercial opportunities)

  • Escalate complex issues promptly and deliver exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint

  • Learn and adapt quickly to new CRM tools and business processes, including BookingKoala

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of phone-based sales, appointment setting, or customer success experience, ideally in home services, high-ticket sales, or similar local service-based business

  • 2+ Prior experience coordinating contractors, managing day-to-day operations, and supporting high-ticket sales processes

  • 2+ years managing high lead volumes with fast response times, with a proven ability to hit conversion targets

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) with a friendly, professional phone presence

  • Strong organizational skills; able to juggle scheduling, follow-ups, and admin with attention to detail

  • Comfortable working US business hours (Pacific Time) in a fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ Experience in residential cleaning or broader home services (e.g., HVAC, painting, landscaping)

  • 1+ Hands-on experience with Google LSA, Yelp, Thumbtack, and review generation workflows

  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel and BookingKoala (or comparable CRMs/booking platforms)

Required Skills & Tools:

  • BookingKoala (or similar booking platform)

  • OpenPhone (or comparable VoIP) and GoHighLevel (or similar CRM/inbox)

  • Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets), spreadsheet proficiency, and reliable messaging/email tools

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full-Time position; 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday–Friday (with a 1-hour lunch)

  • Fully remote role for a Northern California, USA based client

  • Pay ranges from R14000 to R16000 (South African Rands) depending on experience.

  • Includes structured onboarding, training, clear KPIs, growth potential, and eligibility for performance incentives after ramp-up
