We are hiring a Reporting & Donor Stewardship Manager for a growing organization in the Non-Profit / Philanthropy industry. This is a full-time remote role for a US-based company. This role is ideal for someone who is both highly analytical and exceptionally personable—a professional who can manage complex reporting deadlines while building genuine, long-term relationships with funders and donors.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Deadline Management: Own and manage the reporting calendar, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
Grant Management: Prepare and submit comprehensive grant reports, including both financial and narrative updates.
Donor Stewardship: Manage individual donor stewardship and support ongoing funder relationships.
Communication: Draft professional funder communications, including emails, updates, and reports.
Coordination: Work closely with the finance team to ensure all reporting data is accurate and consistent.
Engagement: Schedule and attend funder check-ins and stewardship calls; track engagement and follow-ups across all funders.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Development Lead to refine communication flows.
Required Qualifications
Comfortable on camera: a reliable camera and audio set-up is required.
Proven Experience: Demonstrated background in grant reporting, donor relations, and client communication.
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English (must be at a native or near-native level).
Technical Thinking: Analytical mindset with the ability to track multiple moving parts and complex data sets.
Communication Skills: Comfortable and professional on video calls; must have a strong "camera presence" and clear audio setup.
Organization: Highly organized and strictly deadline driven.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Previous experience coordinating between finance and development/fundraising departments.
A track record of managing long-term "stewardship" cycles that result in donor retention.
Required Skills & Tools
Google Workspace: Expert level in Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
Project Management: ClickUp or similar CRM-style tracking systems.
Communication: Zoom and other video conferencing tools.
Schedule & Pay
Full-time position; 40 hours/week.
Standard business hours in the US EST 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This is a fully remote job for a US-based company.
Pay ranges from R14000 to R22000, depending on experience and skill.
Annual raises, bonuses, and confirmed holiday PTO.
