What this role covers

We are hiring a Podcast Producer to run the day-to-day operations of a founder-focused podcast. This role is responsible for sourcing and booking high-quality guests, managing outreach systems, coordinating interviews, and turning episodes into short-form content.

This is not a traditional podcast or editing role. The focus is on building a consistent pipeline of qualified guests and maintaining a high-performing system that supports content, partnerships, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Sourcing & Outreach

  • Identify and build lists of founders and operators who fit the target audience

  • Manage and operate AI-driven outbound systems (email, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Monitor and improve outreach performance, targeting, and messaging

  • Maintain a steady pipeline of booked podcast guests

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Handle guest communication and scheduling

  • Send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups to reduce no-shows

  • Manage the podcast calendar and booking flow

  • Prepare simple guest briefs for each interview

Podcast Operations

  • Ensure each recording is properly set up and organized

  • Track episode status (booked, recorded, published)

  • Support smooth day-to-day execution of the podcast schedule

Content & Distribution

  • Create short-form clips from podcast recordings (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

  • Add captions and format content for different platforms

  • Upload and publish content consistently

  • Maintain a simple posting schedule

System & Process Management

  • Manage tools used for outreach, scheduling, and content

  • Improve workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency

  • Track performance metrics related to bookings and output

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable using AI tools and learning new software quickly

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows independently

  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cold outreach (email or LinkedIn)

  • Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Descript, etc.)

  • Background working with startups, founders, or online businesses

Performance Metrics:

  • Number of qualified guests booked per week

  • Guest show rate

  • Consistency of content output

  • Accuracy and reliability of scheduling and coordination

Logistics:

  • US hours: 8am to 4pm PST

  • Fully remote

  • Paying $800 USD - $1500 USD/month depending on experience
