HireSava works alongside our offshore South African staffing firm and is designed to become the go-to platform for remote South African jobs.

About the Role

We are hiring a Growth & Community Associate to help us grow HireSava’s job seeker community, support clients and candidates, manage influencer outreach, promote jobs on LinkedIn, and assist with early business development.

This is a startup-style growth role, so you will wear a few different hats. The common theme across the role is helping grow both sides of the HireSava marketplace: South African workers looking for remote opportunities and companies looking to hire them.

A strong candidate should also be comfortable working with AI tools. You do not need to be highly technical, but you should be curious, adaptable, and willing to use AI to work faster, write better outreach, organize information, improve workflows, and support HireSava’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

• Respond to customer support messages from both job seekers and employers.

• Help answer questions about HireSava, job posts, applications, and the platform.

• Escalate issues, feedback, or bugs to the appropriate internal team.

• Track recurring customer questions or issues so we can improve the platform.

• Keep communication friendly, professional, and timely.

• Repost jobs posted on HireSava to Linkedin to grow distribution

Influencer & Community Outreach

• Identify South African influencers, creators, career coaches, and online communities that reach job seekers.

• Reach out to influencers to promote HireSava to South African remote workers.

• Manage ongoing influencer conversations, follow-ups, and simple partnership coordination.

• Help organize paid influencer campaigns to get the word out about HireSava.

• Track influencer outreach, responses, campaign status, and results.

• Over time, expand outreach to U.S.-based staffing, recruiting, business, and remote work influencers who can help attract employers to post jobs.

Business Development & Client Outreach

• Use LinkedIn to connect with potential customers, hiring managers, founders, recruiters, and companies that may want to hire South African remote talent.

• Send thoughtful outreach messages to introduce HireSava.

• Help schedule calls or meetings with potential clients.

• Follow up with existing customers to gather reviews, feedback, and testimonials.

• Identify any issues clients are having with their job posts or hiring experience.

• If a client is not finding the right candidates on HireSava, help introduce them to Cherry Assistant as an additional staffing solution.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Proactive and comfortable taking initiative.

• Organized and good at tracking outreach and follow-ups.

• Friendly, professional, and clear in written communication.

• Comfortable using LinkedIn for outreach and networking.

• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools.

• Curious about how AI can improve work, communication, job searching, and hiring.

• Excited about remote work and helping South Africans access global opportunities.

• Able to manage multiple small projects without things slipping through the cracks.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to figure things out.

• Consistent, reliable, and detail-oriented.

• Good at building relationships online.

Nice to Have

• Experience with customer support, community management, recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or influencer outreach.

• Experience using LinkedIn for outreach.

• Familiarity with remote work, job boards, staffing, or creator/influencer partnerships.

• Basic copywriting ability for LinkedIn posts, outreach messages, and job promotions.

• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, writing, research, or workflows.

• Experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment.

• Customer questions are answered quickly and professionally.

• Influencer outreach is happening consistently every week.

• HireSava is being promoted by relevant South African creators and communities.

• Jobs posted on HireSava are also being shared on LinkedIn.

• Potential clients are being contacted and moved toward conversations.

• Existing customers are giving feedback, testimonials, and reviews.

• AI tools are being used to speed up outreach, improve communication, and make workflows more efficient.

• The HireSava community is growing on both the job seeker and employer side.
