We are hiring a CRM & Development Operations Manager to support a mission-driven, U.S.-based financial organization focused on advancing economic sovereignty and community-led development.
This is a fully remote role focused on CRM ownership, fundraising operations, and workflow coordination across donor and funder relationships.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, systems-driven, and proactive, with the ability to translate relationship activity into structured data, clear follow-ups, and actionable insights. This role requires strong organizational skills, CRM expertise, and the ability to support leadership with accurate, real-time information.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & CRM Management:
Own and manage the CRM system (Bloomerang) including data integrity and system structure.
Perform CRM cleanup, including data imports, field mapping, and record standardization.
Maintain accurate contact and organization records across all stakeholders.
Ensure consistent CRM hygiene and data accuracy.
Capture and log meeting notes, interactions, and relationship insights into the CRM.
Create and manage follow-up tasks based on meetings and communications.
Maintain donor and funder records, ensuring all activity is up to date.
Handle data entry, system updates, and administrative CRM tasks.
Fundraising & Pipeline Operations:
Manage and update donor and funder pipeline stages.
Track relationship progress and ensure timely follow-ups.
Support fundraising workflows and operational processes.
Build and maintain structured views of all active opportunities.
Assist leadership in prioritizing outreach and engagement efforts.
Reporting & Dashboarding:
Prepare a weekly fundraising dashboard for leadership.
Track pipeline health, engagement activity, and key metrics.
Provide visibility into relationship status and fundraising progress.
Identify gaps, delays, or inconsistencies in data and reporting.
Campaign & Engagement Support:
Segment CRM lists for:
Fundraising campaigns
Donor updates
Events
Stewardship initiatives
Support acknowledgment workflows and communication tracking.
Ensure consistent follow-through on donor and funder engagement.
General Operations Support:
Support leadership by reducing manual tracking and follow-up work.
Ensure all relationship activity is captured and actionable.
Maintain structured systems that enable efficient decision-making.
Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in CRM management, operations, or administrative coordination.
Strong experience with CRM systems (nonprofit or donor CRM experience preferred).
High attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and tracking.
Ability to translate unstructured information (e.g., meetings) into organized systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable working closely with leadership and managing sensitive information.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Bloomerang or similar donor management platforms.
Background in nonprofit, fundraising, or development operations.
Experience supporting fundraising teams or donor pipelines.
Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, or data tracking systems.
Exposure to mission-driven, impact, or community-focused organizations.

Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
Data management and reporting tools.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.
High attention to detail and organizational ability.
Schedule & Pay:
3-month project role; Monday - Friday EST.
Fully remote role for a U.S.-based company
Pay ranges from R7,000 - R8,000 p/m.
Annual raises and confirmed holidays.
