What this role covers

We are hiring an Appointment Setter / SDR for a B2B marketing services company in the lead generation industry. This is a full-time remote role for a U.S.-based company that helps financial advisors generate qualified leads through cold SMS and email outreach. The primary focus of this role is rapidly engaging with positive responses from outbound campaigns, converting interested prospects into booked sales meetings, and maintaining a high booking rate through immediate follow-up and disciplined CRM management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call and engage positive responses from cold SMS and email campaigns within minutes of receiving them

  • Convert interested financial advisors into qualified, booked sales appointments

  • Follow established scripts, SOPs, and objection-handling frameworks to maximize conversion rates

  • Maintain rapid response times to inbound positive replies, as speed-to-lead is critical

  • Manage conversations, pipelines, tasks, and appointments within GoHighLevel (GHL)

  • Conduct follow-up calls, SMS messages, and emails with warm prospects who have not yet booked

  • Confirm appointments and reduce no-show rates through proactive communication

  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date at all times

  • Track daily activity metrics, appointment volume, conversion rates, and pipeline health

  • Collaborate with leadership to improve scripts, messaging, and booking performance

  • Ensure compliance with SMS and email outreach best practices, including opt-out management

  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of recent experience in appointment setting, SDR, inside sales, or outbound lead generation

  • 2 + years of proven success booking meetings through phone, SMS, email, or multi-channel outreach

  • 1 + years of experience working with U.S.-based clients and prospects

  • Strong phone presence and confidence speaking with decision-makers

  • Experience using GoHighLevel (GHL) or comparable CRM platforms

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Highly responsive and able to act quickly on inbound opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience setting appointments for marketing agencies, lead generation agencies, or professional service providers

  • Familiarity with financial advisors or financial services-related sales environments

  • Experience managing cold SMS and cold email outreach campaigns

  • Knowledge of sales follow-up sequences and appointment confirmation strategies

  • Previous experience working remotely with international teams

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time position - Monday to Friday during MST timezone U.S. business hours

  • Fully remote role

  • Base salary: R14 000 - R18 000 per month (plus $16.67 for every qualified show call)

  • Ongoing training, SOPs, and performance coaching provided

  • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and upload
