What this role covers
We are hiring a German, Spanish, Italian, or French-speaking EPR Compliance Assistant for a professional services company in the international trade/e-commerce compliance industry. This is a full-time remote role for a UK based company (as the role reports to the UK team ). This role is ideal for someone who has strong attention to detail and organizational skills , and can support the compliance team in managing documentation, data collection, and regulatory updates related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and updating EPR compliance documentation and records.
Coordinate data collection for EPR reporting and audits.
Support registration, filing, and reporting activities on EPR portals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Monitor regulatory updates and assist in implementing relevant compliance actions.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Environmental Management, Business Administration, Compliance, or similar.
2+ years of experience in compliance, environmental reporting, regulatory administration, or data/documentation management.
2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and online compliance or reporting portals.
Proven attention to detail with the ability to manage and organize large volumes of compliance and reporting data.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Language Expectations:
Native or near-native German/Spanish/Italian/French proficiency
Strong professional English communication skills
Ability to confidently conduct meetings, correspondence, and documentation in English and either German, Spanish, Italian, or French
Comfortable working with German/Spanish/Italian/French-speaking clients, stakeholders, and/or internal teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with EPR regulations or environmental compliance frameworks in the UK or EU.
Experience supporting compliance audits, filings, or regulatory reporting processes.
Knowledge of sustainability principles, waste management practices, or circular economy concepts.
Prior experience working with international clients or cross-border compliance documentation.
Strong research and regulatory monitoring skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize updates from environmental agencies.
Required Skills & Tools:
2+ years experience in Microsoft Office and online compliance portals.
Exposure to data management or reporting tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Suite/Google Workspace, or CRM/compliance systems).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-Time position; Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM UK.
Fully remote role for a UK.-based company
Pay ranges from R14,000 - R22,000 per month
